"Now for something completely different". This friendly accessible walk of six miles is along the Conwy valley. There is a short sharp shock at the start, then through farmland down to the River. We head for Caerhun old Church 8th century. Close by is the site of a Roman Villa and Fort. We return back over the hill to Glyn Isa Fish Ponds Car Park. For those that would like there is the opportunity to visit the Dutch Pancake House. Savoury and sweet pancakes available. My advice is to have a medium serving, unless you are not going to eat for the rest of the day!
How to get there is always a challenge. Head for Conwy, then head south on the B5106 toward Tal y Bont, long before then turn right at the Groes Inn, follow brown signs for Glyn Isa course fishing. That is where we are parking, the turning into the Glyn Isa Fish Ponds is quite sudden! after a minor road turning on your right. Plenty of spaces and TOILETS!
