Twenty two people with attendant cars packed into a lay by on the A2085. About six walkers from the Meirionnydd Group added to our number. John Carson had planned a varied walk including a visit to a Church now under the care of Friends of Friendless Churches. He had not planned the persistent rain (forecast as showers) Lunch was taken at Llyn Mair, the rain was beginning to stop! The sun dried us all out for the second half of the walk. Lessons learnt if you have over twenty walkers, add stiles, hills and woods and a change in weather conditions (anoraks, over trousers on/off) it is best to take the radios to keep in touch with the back marker!!
