The weather forecast is looking promising which is good because the views from the top of Rhiw Mountain are spectacular. If its clear to the east we should see the hills of Snowdonia and to the west Cardigan Bay,the Irish sea and the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula.
The walk to the top of Rhiw mountain (982ft) is fairly gentle,we will then descend on to the Lleyn coastal path which we follow for a while eventually reaching Porth Ysgo.
The car park at Porth Ysgo is quite large these days so there should be no problems parking. The parking charge is £2. The best way to finf Porth Ysgo is to travel to Aberdaron on the B4413,once in the village turn left over the bridge and follow the road up the hill pst the church, the right turn to Porth Ysgo is 1.7 miles from Aberdaron on a cross roads the car park is on the right after you reach a duck pond.
Perhaps if time permits we can meet up afterwards at the Lion Inn Tudweiliog for some well earned refreshment.
