revised date for rained off walk

THAT WAS THE WALK THAT WASN'T

Weather that was even worse than the abysmal weather forecast greeted us at Capel Curig on Sunday morning. To have attempted the planned route 'up top' would have been irresponsible and with the amount of rain over the past few days even the lower level route would have been essentially a river. That, combined with the torrential rain at the time resulted in a total lack of objections to the cancellation of the walk.
I am intending to do the walk, weather permitting, next Sunday Sept 26th same time and place.
