Coed Maentwrog or The Blasted Heath

Saturday 14 April Meet at Forest Car Park SH646416 for 10:30 start.
Due to forestry work the original plans for the latter half of the walk have had to be "adjusted" but an advantage of the tree felling is an improvement in the views.  The walk will now be basically 5 miles with an "extra" (optional)loop near the end, of another mile or so. This loop starts about 100 yds from the end so anyone who prefers a shorter walk can "opt out". Due to the work (being) carried out by the men with big choppers and even bigger machines, there are short stretches that are fairly muddy but  which , with care, can be avoided.
